Remove side covers and top to access condenser coil inside and out.
Remove debris around and inside condenser and vacuum if necessary.
Hose off loose dirt on condensing coil.
Apply biodegradable coil cleaner to condensing coil and let soak.
Thoroughly rinse off coil cleaner.
Clear condenser drain holes.
Check wire connections for compressor and replace connector if necessary.
Check condition of crank case heater.
Oil condenser fan motor.
Check and tighten condenser fan motor mounting bracket.
Clean condenser fan blade.
Check condenser fan blade for cracks in metal.
Tighten fan blade set screw.
Open and clean debris out of electrical compartment.
Visually inspect all wiring for wear or breaks.
Repair small wiring problems in electrical compartment if necessary. (Large electrical problems such as burnt or corroded wires or components repaired at extra charge).
Check compressor contactor operation and look for burnt points or corroded connectors and replace contactor if necessary at extra charge and with homeowners approval.
Reassemble condenser.
Service indoor blower assembly, clean squirrel cage and housing.
Oil indoor blower motor.
If accessible brush and vacuum evaporator coil.
Apply self-rinsing evaporator coil cleaner.
Replace disposable air filter or clean washable air filters-extra charge for Aprilaire of Air Bear air filters.
Check thermostat operation and set to cool home.
Turn on air handler, look and listen for unusual vibrations or noise.
Check amperage of blower motor and compare to manufacturers rating plate.
Fire up condenser, look and listen for unusual vibrations or noises.
Check compressor amperage and compare to manufacturers rating.
Check low and high side pressures and analyze system operation.
Do superheat or sub cool calculations to determine system freon charge.
Add freon if necessary at extra charge and with approval.
Oil Clean Out and Safety Inspection
Inspection of unit looking for water or oil leaks, unsecured parts and rot.
Inspection of overall condition of oil tank.
Remove oil filter, check fuel flow from tank.
Replace oil filter at tank.
Replace fuel unit strainer.
Purge pump and oil line ensuring full flow of oil.
Remove, clean and inspect burner coupling.
Remove burner motor and inspect.
Clean cad cell eye.
Clean and check retention head.
Replace nozzle.
Clean, file and adjust electrodes.
Clean gun assembly.
Clean and reassemble burner.
Start heating unit and check transformer operation.
Check safety timing of primary control.
Check combustion chamber and flame.
Manually work firematic shut off at tank and burner to insure operation in case of fire.
Clean pump and pump shaft.
Clean primary air band.
Clean secondary air band.
Brush and vacuum burner squirrel cage.
Check burner wiring looking for burnt, loose or frayed wires and possible shorts.
Check burner mounting and gasket.
Remove smoke pipe from unit to chimney.
Brush and vacuum smoke pipe.
Brush and vacuum chimney base, clear all obstacles to ensure free flow of flue gases.
Open all clean out panels. Remove, brush, and vacuum flue collector box.
Brush and vacuum all flue passages.
Reassemble heating unit. Attach smoke pipe ensuring three screws in each smoke pipe connection. Cement smoke pipe into chimney.
Complete efficiency test to ensure proper operation
Adjust draft control for proper draft.
Additional Points for Forced Hot Air Systems
Replace air filter.
Check blower assembly belt and bearings.
Oil motor (if necessary).
Brush and vacuum blower wheel.

Check and drain inducer and exchanger vacuum tube-replace if necessary.
Remove inducer motor and check impeller.
Oil inducer motor and re-install.
